Monbu – Online Learning Revised: Crafted OpenEdx on Kubernetes that eliminates complete need of IT support staff and physical servers

Having a successful track record in selling these software they planned to launch a new online education platform that is scalable, feature rich and instantly deployable. Monbu is a new age online learning platform that is crafted using OpenEdX platform revolving around concepts and technology of Kubernetes. OpenEdX was founded by Harvard and MIT in 2013 that maintained thousands of developers worldwide. Its a clean open source project that promotes online education having more than 45 million worldwide users to date.
Product Features and Security
Monbu includes some amazing features that promote online education through live classes, live class recording features, examination system, teaching management, and top level architecture that includes video on-demand and customized teaching portal. It comes with load balancing that would completely eliminate need of peak traffic management, flexible computing resource allocation and dynamic bit rate that would get adjusted based on client’s device using live broadcast. Monbu comes with multi-language support and presence in more than 60 countries with about 45M users worldwide.
Monbu effectively partners with AWS (Amazon Web Service) has hosts all content and infrastructure on world’s leading cloud platform. This provides more reliability, flexibility, and lower latency cloud computing solution that would enable rapid scaling. It functions on advanced Kubernetes platform that very fast, efficient and more secure than all traditional VM deployment models.
Leap Biosystems: A giant leap for next-gen telemedicine for space expedition
We are a company in Toronto, Canada that has history of developing, launching and promoting multiple enterprise software products that revolve around precise advance technologies promoting IoT, AI and AR/VR. Having a successful track record in selling these softwares they planned to partner with Leap Biosystems that wanted to develop new Augmented Reality training kit for astronauts that can use EpiPen during emergency situation. This module also had an extended version that auto-diagnosed and detected medication dosages depending on patient’s age. Both these modules were called MedGuide and MedCoach.
Product Features and Security
MedCoach relied heavily on Google Firebase OCR/Text recognition (Optical Character Recognition). Using this Machine Learning kit, medicine bottles from same manufacturers but different dosages were auto-scanned, recognized and identified for use. Patient’s needed to input their basic information such as age, weight, and place medical vial in front of the camera for auto-detection.
MedGuide however was an entire project that used theories of Augmented Reality and Model Training. EpiPen-is an injection containing epinephrine, a chemical that narrows blood vessels and opens airways in the lungs. These effects can reverse severe low blood pressure, wheezing, severe skin itching, hives, and other symptoms of an allergic reaction. This app was designed to auto-detect EpiPen and guide the user to use it during emergency by detecting a thigh. It also included procedures that drive entire injection process using advance technologies like AI and Augmented Reality.
Creative Destruction Labs, Toronto: Building Massively Scalable Companies

Creative Destruction Labs Toronto, a unique program which takes no equity and charges no fees to the participating companies as it is funded through philanthropy. CDL’s objective-setting process enhances the performance of technical founders who learn from the insights of experienced entrepreneurs, increasing their probability of success. We happened to get accepted at CDL in Sept 2018 and the process lasted until March of 2019. It was a fantastic journey where we got to meet amazing mentors from all over the world that worked at Lufthansa, Emirates, Google Ventures, Rogers and other established organisations. We were fortunate enough to graduate out of this program and generate business through one of other participating companies in Space sector called Leap Biosystems. The program not only shaped our product strategy but heavily impacted us in narrowing our target markets in Asia and North America. It helped us in strategizing our key funding initiatives and shaped our knowledge on raising bridge funds, valuation techniques and ideas on Series-A money.
We were fortunate to interact and work with some amazing CDL staff and gather insightful knowledge on assessing progress of company and work on some immediate short term monthly goals. CDL-Max was a great opportunity to pitch our product in front of global experts and about 350 CDL mentors with an open chance on making on the spot investments and appreciate entrepreneur’s product, idea and vision.
